Every year Matrix CNI send 3 special needs children off to have fun at Magic Mania and Movie Mania.
The events are held to provide a unique day for special needs children who, through no fault of their own, have limited opportunities to be involved with and enjoy such outings. It’s a great day for the families at the same time.
Careflight run these events are they are also an important way of raising desperately needed funds to support CareFlight’s emergency medical retrieval services and specialist doctors.
The children attending come from a range of organisations, including children who are physically and mentally disabled, those suffering terminal or chronic illnesses, and the socio-economically disadvantaged.
Since 1998 Magic Mania Events have been held at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre at the Olympic Site (with the Olympic Year at Hordern Pavilion). In these years, in excess of 50,000 children, mums, dads, carers, family and siblings of these needy youngsters in attendance. Given their popularity, we expect the demand for tickets to forthcoming events to significantly increase.
